BIOGRAPHY
Dorota Kycia, art photographer, FIAP liaison officer.
She was born in Milanówek on 26 February 1962.
She completed the Photography School of ZPAF (Union of Polish Art Photographers) in 2005 in Warsaw and the Warsaw Academy of Photography in 2007.
She is interested in landscape and nature photography, and particularly taking pictures of wildlife, mostly birds.
In 2010 she was awarded the distinction Artist FIAP(AFIAP).
In 2011 she was awarded the distinction Excellence FIAP (EFIAP).
W 2012 she was awarded the HonPESGSPC title, Cyprus
In 2020, she was awarded the gold medal „FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC CREATIVITY” on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Polish Photo Club.
In 2018, she received the medal of Polish Republic’s Photoclub „” FOR MERITS FOR POLISH PHOTOGRAPHY” on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence.
In 2016 she was awarded the ESFIAP – Excellence for Services Rendered to FIAP
In 2015 she was awarded the gold medal of the Association of Polish Republic Fotoclub „For the contribution to the development of photographic work”.
In 2013 she was awarded the medal of the Association of Polish Republic Photoclub them. L.J.M. Daguerre, in recognition of her contribution to the development of photographic work.
Since 2011 – 2014 Vice President of IFWP (International Federation of Wildlife Photography).
Since 2010 she has been serving as the FIAP Liaison Officer.
Since 2010 – the board member of IFWP (International Federation of Wildlife Photography).
Since 2009 – the member of Polish Republic’s Photo Club with the title of the AFRP Artist.
Since 2009 – the representative of the Polish Nature Photographers Union in IFWP.
Since 2009 – member of the Polish Nature Photographers Union (ZPFP).
